Feed Manufacturing Operator

Location: Mukilteo, Washington, United States; onsite 5 days a week for 8-hour day shifts

Estimated compensation: $16–$25 per hour, excluding benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain a safe manufacturing environment and participate in required safety programs, training, and meetings.
• Inspect inbound materials, collect and analyze samples, and verify that products meet requirements.
• Operate and field-check process equipment, monitor process conditions and controls, and perform safe lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and maintenance records to ensure material traceability.
• Move, load, unload, store, and stage raw materials and finished goods using a lift truck.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming products while suggesting improvements to safety, quality, and yield.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship or support is not available.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment with exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, and cold.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours per day, use stairs, work on elevated surfaces over 10 feet, and lift or move up to 50 pounds for up to 50 yards.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or production.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered material-handling equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite, Excel, and Slack.
• Time-management, independent work, critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude skills.
