Production Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Sedalia, Missouri, USA. Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; training may take place on the day shift for 3–4 weeks.

Compensation: $20.61 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential and monthly incentive payments after completing the 90-day probationary period.

What you will do

• Set up, load, thread, and operate production machines in spooling, stranding, or closing operations.
• Install and adjust dies, forming heads, crushing rollers, post-formers, tension devices, and related equipment.
• Adjust tension, die pressure, lubrication, and machine settings according to order specifications.
• Inspect set changes, measure strand characteristics, and request supervisor approval.
• Tag and stage finished products, record production data, and maintain accurate setup information.
• Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements while keeping the work area clean.

Requirements

• Fluent English is required.
• Basic computer skills, math skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to learn to use micrometers, tape measures, feeler gauges, and basic hand tools.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for 10–12-hour shifts and work in temperatures from 40 to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Employment requires successful completion of post-offer background, drug, physical, and hearing screenings.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience using measuring devices, basic math, and mechanical skills.
