Light Equipment Operator 1 - 1st Shift

Location: Commerce, California, USA; onsite, full-time, 1st shift from Wednesday through Sunday, 4:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Pay range: $17.90–$23.60.

What you will do

• Operate, load, unload, and set up assigned production equipment, including 227, Alphaliner, and Ferag systems.
• Stage appropriate materials and perform material handler duties as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment components and make minor non-mechanical adjustments, including clearing jams and calibrating machines.
• Monitor machine performance through a computer interface, collect performance information, and enter data into MS Excel.
• Perform finished-product quality checks, resolve productivity and quality issues, and report critical data to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Lead and communicate with production team members while maintaining housekeeping and safety standards.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills, mathematical ability, and ability to read daily machine reports.
• Knowledge of machine components and manufacturing operations, with the ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Ability to multitask, assess obstacles, take corrective action, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work overtime as required and perform the physical duties of the role, including standing, walking, lifting up to 15 lbs., and pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs.
