Payroll Specialist

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid workplace with regular in-person collaboration at the Denver headquarters

Salary: $24.04–$33.65 per hour

What you will do

• Execute Canada payrolls for assigned resorts and corporate employees, meeting processing deadlines.
• Prepare time and attendance data, perform payroll calculations and adjustments, and reconcile payroll to source inputs.
• Process deductions, benefits-related adjustments, manual checks, stop payments, reissued checks, and unclaimed wage payments.
• Administer Canadian court orders, including garnishments and tax levies, in Workday and ADP.
• Support employees, HR, resort leaders, and benefits teams with payroll, wage, tax, deduction, and leave-of-absence questions.
• Support year-end tax reporting, Records of Employment completion, employment verifications, and payroll data analysis.

Requirements

• 3+ years of multi-provincial payroll experience, including Canadian payroll taxes, garnishments, pay calculations, and wage reporting.
• Required experience with Canadian payroll processing, Records of Employment, bi-weekly hourly and salaried payrolls, and benefits taxation.
• Workday experience and finance or accounting knowledge are required.
• Knowledge of Canadian CPP, EI, federal and provincial taxes, RRSP, manual payroll processes, and general ledger posting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• USA payroll experience.
• Workday Time Tracking experience.
• Canada PCP certification.
