TL;DR
Staff Data Analyst (Lean and Process Improvement): Leading data-driven Lean process improvement initiatives across procurement, manufacturing, and co-manufacturing operations with an accent on diagnostics, process redesign, performance visibility, and governance. Focus on building dashboards and business cases, facilitating cross-functional improvement events, and driving implementation and sustainment of scalable operational improvements.

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; full-time role at the hirify.global headquarters.

Salary: USD 145,000–162,000 per year, with final base pay determined by work location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

  • Lead current-state and future-state value stream diagnostics across procurement, manufacturing, co-manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
  • Identify process waste, bottlenecks, rework, data quality gaps, unclear ownership, and decision delays using Lean tools and root cause analysis.
  • Build improvement roadmaps, quantify business cases, and track productivity, lead-time, cost, service, risk, and working-capital benefits.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, executive reporting, and performance management tools covering service, capacity, suppliers, inventory, quality, costs, and initiative benefits.
  • Redesign workflows, operating models, governance routines, decision rights, escalation paths, standard work, and control mechanisms.
  • Lead pilots, implementation plans, Lean workshops, stakeholder communications, training, adoption tracking, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, business, data analytics, statistics, finance, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in process improvement, supply chain, manufacturing operations, strategy, operations excellence, business analytics, or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex improvement initiatives from diagnostics through implementation and sustainment.
  • Deep knowledge of Lean methodologies, process design, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, standard work, operating model design, and change management.
  • Strong analytical, executive communication, structured problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Google BigQuery, or similar tools.

Nice to have

  • MBA, master’s degree, or another advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, retail supply chains, seasonal products, or contract manufacturing networks.
  • Experience with ERP, planning, procurement, quality, manufacturing, or supplier management systems.
  • Experience with Python, R, process mining, automation tools, or applied AI for reporting and decision-making.
