Assistant Resident Engineer / Structures Representative (Highway and Bridge Construction)

Location: On-site in Ontario, California, United States; projects are located in Riverside County.

Salary: $88,800–$133,200 annually.

What you will do

• Inspect roadway and bridge construction procedures and verify contractor work against contract documents.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and inspect foundation construction, including pile driving and drilling.
• Complete bridge superstructure calculations using four-scales and inspect falsework placement and removal.
• Document pay quantities, support development of the Final Estimate, and verify monthly progress payment accuracy.
• Track change-order work and maintain records of material inspection, certification, and acceptance.
• Support compliance with applicable standards and specifications and assist with resolving project issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in highway and bridge construction.
• Ability to assist with efficient resolution of project issues.
