Network Administrator II

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site, 2nd or 3rd shift. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

What you will do

• Configure, administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise and operational network infrastructure supporting launch operations.
• Support switches, routers, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, network security appliances, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, and access controls.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity across engineering, integration, testing, mission operations, and launch environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, hardware, and software issues and participate in incident response during critical mission and launch support windows.
• Assist with network provisioning, hardware deployments, cable management, infrastructure upgrades, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, procedures, and compliance documentation while recommending reliability and scalability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in network administration or network operations.
• Experience administering enterprise networking environments and supporting operational infrastructure.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, network segmentation, VPNs, firewall and network security solutions, monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and infrastructure management platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Eligibility under U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulations is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fortinet or equivalent enterprise networking platforms.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, mission operations, or other highly regulated operational environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements, and vulnerability management.
• Experience supporting 24/7 or shift-based operations.
