Location: Nagoya or Tokyo, Japan. Hybrid setup (office, client-site, and home office).

What you will do
- Act as the primary interface for Japanese OEM customers regarding requirement specifications and agreement processes.
- Manage the full lifecycle of stakeholder requirements, including collection, structuring, and monitoring.
- Oversee the Change Request (CR) process, coordinating technical analysis and effort estimation from engineering teams.
- Maintain data integrity in Requirements Management tools and create specification baselines.
- Track and report process performance using KPIs, focusing on traceability and requirement agreement.
Requirements
- Fluent communication skills in English and Japanese.
- 5+ years of experience working with or for a Japanese automotive supplier or carmaker.
- Basic knowledge of requirements management logic and a governance-oriented mindset.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to escalate risks with clear context and impact.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
- Ability to pass a background investigation and aptitude test.
Nice to have
- Experience with DOORS or Doors Next Generation (DNG).
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process models.
- Familiarity with RFI/RFQ processes and configuration management/baselining.
