Field Service Representative

Location: Connecticut, United States; customer-site and field service work required

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 per year, excluding overtime

What you will do

• Install, maintain, inspect, and commission turbomachinery and package systems at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, call-out services, and equipment adjustments.
• Use test equipment, schematics, gauges, instruments, hand tools, and digital systems to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical components and clean and lubricate equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot technical problems involving power-supply and oil-and-gas equipment.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance for power-plant and oil-and-gas equipment.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers and automated process controls.
• Strong problem-solving, initiative, troubleshooting, and customer-service capabilities.
• Pass a Department of Transportation drug screen, physical fitness evaluation, and physical examination.
• Maintain a clean driving record, obtain OGUK offshore certification, and be able to obtain a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
