Solar Field Service Technician (Castle Dale, UT)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Castle Dale, Utah, United States. The role may require up to 10% travel for training, certifications, and site coverage.

Salary: $25.02–$31.27 per hour

What you will do

• Service solar equipment across multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and part replacements using monitoring programs.
• Operate and maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Respond to on-call requests, including emergency repairs during weekends or after hours.
• Prepare accurate work documentation and reports.
• Suggest process improvements, collaborate on new technologies, and coordinate implementation with EPC management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Mechanical or electrical environment experience, with basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic understanding of solar installations, testing equipment, and computer operations.
• Ability to perform lockout/tagout procedures and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, ability to work in extreme weather and remote locations, and ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
