What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings.
• Develop and implement curriculum, course materials, technology-supported learning, and evidence-based teaching methods.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback and remediation, and support student success.
• Lead or support clinical, laboratory, and simulation learning to connect theory with safe, ethical, and professional practice.
• Mentor students and new faculty while participating in committees, graduation activities, program evaluation, service, and scholarship.
• Maintain teaching, subject-matter, regulatory, and professional practice knowledge through ongoing development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing required; a relevant PhD is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered Texas professional nurse license or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience or proficiency with learning management systems, simulation equipment, online platforms, and AI-supported teaching tools.
• Strong communication, initiative, judgment, collaboration, conflict management, and emotional and social intelligence.
• Credentials, compliance documentation, and education and experience must meet applicable Texas and state authorization requirements.
