Nurse Instructor Full Time Evenings Weekends

Location: Campus-based in Sacramento, California, USA; requires visiting clinical sites and teaching in classrooms, including evenings and weekends.

Salary: USD 90,000–110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Teach vocational nursing lecture courses and clinical rotations at assigned times and locations.
• Provide evening and weekend clinical support at visiting clinical sites.
• Improve instructional quality through innovative teaching methods and online learning activities.
• Review and revise course syllabi, instructional guidelines, and program materials.
• Maintain attendance, grades, skills check-offs, student files, clinical requirements, and program reports.
• Participate in professional development and assigned committees while keeping licensure and continuing education current.

Requirements

• Current RN or LVN licensure in the state where teaching takes place.
• RN/BSN pathway: at least 3 years of bedside nursing experience.
• LVN/Associate degree pathway: at least 6 years of bedside nursing experience.
• Ability to teach lecture content and clinical rotations on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to use online activities and stay current with technologies and safety regulations.
• Current immunizations and Basic Life Support or ACLS certification are preferred.
