BSN Instructor - MedSurg/Geri - Full-time Faculty (Nursing)

Location: Fremont, California, USA. Campus-based position requiring regular, in-person attendance up to five days per week and on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.

Salary: USD 115,000–120,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality, student-centered nursing instruction aligned with nursing standards, accreditation requirements, and institutional outcomes.
• Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and final course evaluations in collaboration with other instructors.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned healthcare facilities.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate students while providing timely feedback on clinical performance.
• Maintain attendance, grades, student records, program reports, and data collection activities.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, student advising, faculty orientation, and instructional quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Valid, active license issued by a State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or a higher degree from an accredited college or university, with relevant coursework in nursing or education, administration, OB, pediatrics, psychiatry, or medical-surgical nursing.
• At least four years of direct patient-care experience as a registered nurse.
• At least one year of clinical experience within the last five years; clinical teaching may count toward direct patient care.
• Clinical expertise in psychiatry, geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, or OB-Gyn.
• Regular in-person campus attendance and on-site collaboration are essential.
