Registered Nurse Professor (Nursing)

Salary: USD 105,000–USD 130,000 yearly

What you will do

• Facilitate learning and evaluate student competencies in assigned classes, laboratories, clinicals, and simulated clinical experiences.
• Supervise, debrief, and provide immediate feedback on student performance in clinical and laboratory settings.
• Plan and supervise clinical experiences, ensuring assignments meet student and healthcare-facility needs.
• Maintain attendance, grades, skills check-offs, clinical records, and program reports in accordance with established policies and FERPA regulations.
• Collaborate with instructors on examinations, final evaluations, program assessment, and instructional initiatives.
• Advise students, participate in faculty meetings and committees, and support faculty orientation and development.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure and four years of Registered Nurse experience.
• Master of Science in Nursing degree required.
• Ability to meet the faculty requirements of the Board of Registered Nursing in the state of employment.
• Current knowledge of nursing practice, student mentoring ability, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Documented background in educational methodology, relevant clinical practice, or distance education techniques.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
