Salary: $75,000–$96,736.53 per year, adjusted according to experience, training, location, licensure, certifications, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings.
• Develop and implement curriculum, course materials, engaging learning experiences, and evidence-based teaching methods.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and deliver remediation when needed.
• Lead or support clinical, laboratory, and simulation learning to connect theory with safe, ethical, and professional practice.
• Mentor and support students and new faculty while participating in committees, graduation activities, program evaluation, service, and scholarship.
• Maintain teaching and subject-matter expertise through professional development and use technology, data, and AI tools to improve learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing required; a PhD in an appropriate field is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered Texas professional nurse licensure, or eligibility to obtain it, is required.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience or expertise with learning management systems, simulation equipment, online platforms, and AI-enabled teaching tools.
• Strong communication, initiative, judgment, conflict management, collaboration, and emotional and social intelligence.
• Maintain current regulatory and practice credentials and meet state-specific authorization, licensure, and clinical compliance requirements.
