Biomedical Technician I (Medical Equipment)

Location: Minneapolis District site, Eagan, Minnesota, United States; full-time onsite work at customer sites, with periodic travel and flexible 24/7 support including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours.

Salary: $25.79–$41.27 per hour, depending on location, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair company- and customer-owned medical equipment.
• Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair services.
• Complete service paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.
• Travel periodically and provide emergency support as needed for business and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology; equivalent military training or CBET certification may qualify.
• Basic computer skills and an understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds and perform extended periods of bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, standing, and other physical activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours supporting a 24/7 schedule and travel periodically.
