Equipment Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Eagleville, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite manufacturing and cleanroom work.

What you will do

• Maintain, install, qualify, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and automated test equipment.
• Support process characterization, validation, design, development, and optimization activities.
• Perform operator qualification testing, functional and destructive testing, and prepare test samples.
• Investigate root causes and fabricate mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic fixtures and tooling.
• Document designs, drawings, test methods, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Train technicians, operators, and engineers on procedures and product assembly while supporting product transfer from contract manufacturers.

Requirements

• At least two years of manufacturing technician or relevant experience; medical-device experience is desired.
• Ability to read English and communicate effectively with cross-functional colleagues.
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and laboratory practices.
• Basic problem-solving skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom, manage multiple priorities, work overtime as needed, and operate independently or in a team.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of electronics and electronic assemblies.
• Laser welding experience.
• Experience with machine-shop tools such as drill presses and grinders.
