Pediatrics Clinical Nursing Instructor (Nursing Education)

Location: Arlington, VA, USA; in-person teaching at assigned clinical locations

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach and implement the BSN program curriculum, course objectives, and clinical learning outcomes.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students in inpatient healthcare settings.
• Prepare clinical assignments, assess student performance, and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Coordinate with clinical site personnel regarding policies, procedures, expectations, and student or agency concerns.
• Support simulation, skills lab, or didactic instruction when assigned under course coordinator supervision.
• Contribute to program development, assessment, retention efforts, regulatory compliance, and student success.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Virginia required.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Live within reasonable proximity of Arlington, VA and be able to teach at assigned clinical locations.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise, written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to education and lifelong learning.
• Ability to serve as a professional role model and collaborate with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and clinical partners.

Nice to have

• Teaching or precepting experience.
• Experience in pediatric nursing or another listed clinical specialization.
