Pediatric Clinical Faculty (Part Time): Delaware

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, USA; onsite teaching in a clinical setting

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the course credit hours assigned.

What you will do

• Teach pediatric nursing students in clinical settings with partner healthcare organizations.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision while students deliver care to children and families.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, skills, and learning needs.
• Grade coursework, assessments, laboratory assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Coordinate with clinical personnel, course coordinators, and academic leadership on student and agency concerns.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Delaware.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience in pediatric nursing or the area of instruction within the last five years.
• An Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Teaching or precepting experience.
