Associate Product Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Melville, New York, United States; 20%–25% travel to attend meetings or visit customers.

Salary: USD $80,000–$95,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Support up to three product lines, including new product launches and legacy product sustaining activities.
• Conduct market, technology, and competitive assessments and contribute to product vision, roadmaps, and product line strategies.
• Analyze profitability, forecasts, inventory levels, product costs, and gross margins, then provide recommendations to management.
• Coordinate Phase/Gate product development deliverables, product launches, support functions, and value-chain training materials.
• Support Sales and Customer Service with basic technical guidance and act as the technical go-to person for assigned product lines.
• Manage web-related activities, recommend marketing materials, and develop business proposals for product opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical or business field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a technical or business-related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, mathematical, analytical, and computer skills.
• Ability to build customer relationships, organize cross-functional teams, solve practical problems with limited information, and work in a highly confidential environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of product design capabilities.
• Working knowledge of electric vehicles, including automotive manufacturers and terminology.

Nice to have

• Automotive industry background, particularly for EVSE product lines.
• Experience with Oracle or related ERP platforms.
• Experience with manufacturing and operations processes.
• Experience with regulatory or standards organizations such as UL, CSA, or NOM.
