Project Engineer (Fluid Handling)

Location: Romeoville, Illinois, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical and fluid-handling products, components, assemblies, prototypes, and detailed drawings.
• Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contracts, and specifications.
• Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, drawing releases, and engineering test results.
• Provide technical support and project status updates to internal teams, management, and customers.
• Assess product feasibility, manufacturing methods, materials, costs, time constraints, and technical factors.
• Maintain controlled engineering documents, part numbers, drawings, specifications, and engineering change records while supporting quality-system actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with computer-aided design equipment and software.
• Knowledge of mechanical and fluid-handling product design, manufacturing processes, materials, and product testing.
• Ability to analyze work-study data, equipment specifications, test results, and performance standards.
