What you will do
- Design and develop mechanical and fluid-handling products, components, assemblies, prototypes, and detailed drawings.
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contracts, and specifications.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, drawing releases, and engineering test results.
- Provide technical support and project status updates to internal teams, management, and customers.
- Assess product feasibility, manufacturing methods, materials, costs, time constraints, and technical factors.
- Maintain controlled engineering documents, part numbers, drawings, specifications, and engineering change records while supporting quality-system actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience with computer-aided design equipment and software.
- Knowledge of mechanical and fluid-handling product design, manufacturing processes, materials, and product testing.
- Ability to analyze work-study data, equipment specifications, test results, and performance standards.
