Sr Eng - Project (Mechanical/Chemical Engineering)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States. Requires 15–20% domestic travel and onsite support during key project execution phases.

What you will do

• Develop and implement gas delivery system projects from initial proposals through startup and turnover.
• Lead the project team in the Basic Safety Program and drive safety targets throughout project execution.
• Prepare technical proposals, equipment layouts, and system flow schematics.
• Coordinate with outside contractors on permitting, construction, manifold fabrication, piping installation, and system certifications.
• Support the Commercial Liquid Bulk Sales team and respond to customer requirements.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities with multidisciplinary engineering and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of Project Engineering experience.
• Basic understanding of drafting or CAD for layouts and system flow schematics.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, financial data analysis, and technical skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, follow contract requirements, and collaborate with suppliers, clients, and distributed teams.
• Ability to provide onsite support in Chandler and travel domestically 15–20%.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NFPA and CGA codes.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
