Senior Mechanical Engineer Project Manager

What you will do

• Lead planning, design, execution, and closeout of complex mechanical engineering projects.
• Define project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and technical efforts for proposals.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and delegate work to engineers, designers, and drafting staff.
• Develop mechanical designs, calculations, recommendations, reports, and project correspondence.
• Perform final technical reviews, quality control, site assessments, and construction oversight.
• Support client relations, business development, marketing, and technical mentorship of junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including energy or industrial projects, piping, and equipment design.
• West Virginia or Pennsylvania Professional Engineer license required.
• Experience in natural gas, refinery, or similar industries; leading mechanical design and collaborating on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong technical writing, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; business travel by company or personal vehicle is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3-D and 2-D mechanical drafting.
• Professional Engineer licenses in additional states.
