Lean Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Houston, TX, US; work from the Houston, Madison, WI, or Oshkosh, WI locations. Hybrid role with approximately 35% travel.

What you will do

• Champion lean manufacturing and business processes, tools, and methodologies across the Engineered Building Solutions business.
• Define, develop, and deploy long-term strategies for best-in-class lean systems and improvement practices across multiple sites.
• Lead and mentor site lean practitioners and train improvement teams in lean transformation approaches and tools.
• Lead data-driven improvement projects and kaizen events as a change agent across the business unit.
• Develop lean metrics and dashboards, define meaningful KPIs, and establish consistent operational reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a related field.
• Ideally 12+ years of business process or manufacturing continuous improvement experience in a lean environment.
• Experience implementing, instructing, and deploying lean methodologies in manufacturing, distribution, and transactional applications.
• Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, with adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across all organizational levels in a highly matrixed organization.
• Outstanding project management and organizational skills; ability to travel approximately 35% and work from a listed US location.

Nice to have

• Experience in an engineered-to-order environment.
• Six Sigma certification.
