A/C Applications Engineer (HVACR): Providing technical support for Copeland’s compressor, controls, and accessories portfolio to AC OEMs in Mexico and Central America with an accent on product selection, new product implementation, production support, and customer training. Focus on developing application profiles, supporting HVACR systems such as chillers and heat pumps, coordinating warranty and samples, and liaising with engineering, quality, sales, and operations teams.

What you will do
- Provide technical support to AC OEM customers across Mexico and Central America for compressors, controls, and accessories.
- Support product selection, new product implementations, engineering changes, pilot runs, and standard production.
- Handle warranty administration and sample coordination.
- Develop application profiles and create, translate, or adapt product application bulletins.
- Act as a liaison between customers and product engineering, development, and laboratory teams.
- Deliver customer training and represent at industry forums and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Strong HVAC experience with chillers, heat pumps, and air handlers.
- Knowledge of compression systems, including scroll, screw, and centrifugal technologies.
- Understanding of electronic control systems for chillers and heat pumps; building management systems knowledge is desirable.
- Spanish and English proficiency required.
- Excellent presentation skills and a customer-focused approach; travel of up to 25%.
