Maintenance Chief

Location: Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance operations for company facilities and plant equipment.
• Control maintenance activities for electrical substations, pump rooms, utilities, HVAC units, offices, cafeterias, and other critical infrastructure.
• Plan and operate maintenance activities, including equipment and machinery installation.
• Apply procedures aligned with the Quality Management System.
• Support continuous improvement and report unsafe acts or workplace conditions.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety rules and internal work regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in a similar position within the metalworking or heavy manufacturing industry, including foundry maintenance.
• Advanced English is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, as well as building and facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLCs and drives, equipment maintenance, maintenance management systems such as MPS, and maintenance planning.
• Experience managing personnel and availability to work flexible hours.
