What you will do

• Conduct geotechnical investigations, site assessments, and subsurface explorations.
• Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions and prepare geotechnical reports with design recommendations.
• Perform design calculations for foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and ground improvement.
• Provide technical support during construction by reviewing submittals, performing field observations, and resolving geotechnical issues.
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to meet project and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 2 years of geotechnical engineering experience supporting transportation, infrastructure, and building projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain it within one year.
• Proficiency with geotechnical analysis software such as gINT, SLOPE/W, LPILE, or PLAXIS 2D/3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing technical reports and presentations.
