Geotechnical Project Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Location: Onsite at the Redmond, Lacey, or Wenatchee, Washington office, USA

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 yearly, depending on qualifications

What you will do

• Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, including client relationships and project budgets.
• Coordinate and participate in field activities such as logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores.
• Evaluate geologic and seismic hazards, distressed structures, and failed slopes.
• Perform foundation design and evaluation, slope stability analysis, and settlement analysis.
• Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical consulting.
• Familiarity with local engineering practices and California-based projects.
• Detail-oriented approach, teamwork, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering.
