Maternal Child Clinical Faculty (Part-Time)

Location: Onsite clinical teaching in Orlando, Florida, USA. The schedule most commonly consists of 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education, experience, course type, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Teach maternal-child nursing clinical courses within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Plan clinical experiences and supervise nursing students providing care to individuals or groups.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Prepare clinical assignments, grade coursework and clinical documentation, and provide remediation when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical partner policies and coordinate student, agency, and course issues with academic leadership.
• Teach didactic content under the supervision of the course coordinator when assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Florida.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience in the instructional specialty within the last five years.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
