Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty (Part-Time): Delaware

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, USA; onsite teaching in a clinical setting. Clinical schedules most commonly involve 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach adult health and medical-surgical nursing in onsite clinical settings.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise students providing nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Provide remediation and maintain communication about student and clinical-agency issues.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade academic and clinical coursework and may teach didactic content under supervision.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered registered nursing license in Delaware.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience in the instructional area within the last five years.
• Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

• Teaching or precepting experience.
