Field Service Manager (Engineering)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA; on-site customer locations in the greater Chicago area

What you will do

• Install, test, and commission equipment at client locations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other technical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and service visits.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with engineering, support, and logistics teams and travel to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience troubleshooting technical equipment or systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work effectively in field environments.
