Customer Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Customer site in Derry / Londonderry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom; 12/7 shift environment. Travel required for 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Diagnose process, software, and hardware problems using technical training, experience, and digital analytics.
• Verify equipment operation, track uptime, and monitor parts failure frequency.
• Communicate equipment issues with engineers and suppliers and participate in escalation calls.
• Coordinate support plans with customer management and take ownership of customer satisfaction and safety.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience desirable.
• Ability to work at the customer site in Northern Ireland in a 12/7 shift environment.
• Ability to solve technical problems, assess solutions, and apply sound judgement.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
