Coating Machine Operator

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA. Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Salary: $25.09 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up and operate coating line assets, including the unwind, die, main console/winder, and quality lab.
• Load raw materials, unload finished products, and program production sequences for efficient operation.
• Perform machine changeovers, monitor process controls, and complete minor repairs.
• Check meters, gauges, temperatures, pressures, and product quality against required specifications.
• Troubleshoot abnormalities by identifying root causes and collaborate with colleagues to improve productivity and eliminate waste.
• Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or at least three years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with machinery, monitor controls, and perform equipment setups and changeovers.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety, continuous learning, and teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with MFG Pro or other manufacturing software.
