Salary: $53,520.90–$96,736.53 per year, adjusted based on experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, budget, and responsibilities.

What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings, including flexible evening and weekend classes.
• Develop and implement course curricula, teaching materials, technology-supported learning, and evidence-based instructional methods.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback and remediation, and support student learning and success.
• Lead or support clinical, laboratory, and simulation learning while connecting theory to safe, ethical, and professional practice.
• Mentor students and new faculty and collaborate with faculty, clinical partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to committees, graduation activities, program evaluation, professional service, scholarship, and ongoing teaching development.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a field appropriate to the teaching profession.
• At least two years of professional experience related to the teaching discipline.
• Current, active, and unencumbered licensure or certification required to practice professionally in the relevant discipline.
• Experience and education must meet applicable state regulations and specialty requirements; additional clinical compliance requirements may apply.
• Strong communication, initiative, judgment, conflict management, collaboration, and emotional and social intelligence.
• Ability to use learning management systems, simulation equipment, online platforms, data, and AI tools effectively.

Nice to have

• PhD in a field appropriate to the teaching profession.
• Scholarship or professional development in discovery, integration, practice/application, or teaching and learning.
