Salary: USD 104,000–115,000 per year

What you will do

• Teach vocational nursing lecture content, laboratory instruction, and clinical rotations.
• Use innovative teaching methods and online activities to enhance course content.
• Review and revise course syllabi and instructional guidelines.
• Maintain attendance, grades, skills check-off forms, student files, and clinical compliance records.
• Submit program reports and participate in committees and professional development.
• Teach at varied times, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, according to program needs.

Requirements

• Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Graduation from an approved nursing school with an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, or credentials required by state regulations.
• Eligibility to meet faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.
• Three years of nursing experience with a BSN or six years with an associate degree.
• Current nursing practice and clinical experience, student mentoring ability, nursing science knowledge, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current immunizations and Basic Life Support certification; ATI certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
