What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care for radiation oncology patients in accordance with clinical standards and specialty regulations.
• Assess patient health status, medical history, and patient and family needs.
• Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care.
• Provide patient and family education, psychosocial support, and access to community resources.
• Triage patient calls, manage medication refill requests, and document relevant information in patient charts.
• Coordinate consultations, testing, procedures, referrals, appointments, and communication with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience; entry-, mid-, and senior-level candidates may be considered.
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to handle patient-care duties involving standing, walking, lifting, manual dexterity, and exposure to conditions common in an oncology and hematology clinic.
