What you will do

• Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Perform daily equipment quality assurance and safety procedures, reporting variances appropriately.
• Position, immobilize, and align patients according to treatment plans and resolve setup issues.
• Monitor patients’ physical and physiological responses and refer them for appropriate management when needed.
• Maintain treatment machine schedules and patient treatment calendars.
• Document treatment delivery information in the department’s electronic medical record.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license required.
• ARRT certification required, or certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical experience and skills in radiation therapy.
