Sample Receiving Technician (Environmental Testing)

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, USA; commutable distance required; full-time onsite schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

What you will do

• Receive, unload, verify, and document incoming samples against Chain of Custody records and client quotes.
• Log samples into the laboratory information management system, assign job numbers, label samples, and route them for analysis.
• Prepare bottle kits and ship samples or empty coolers to clients and other laboratories in accordance with established procedures and DOT requirements.
• Manage sample storage, including walk-in coolers, sample splitting, composites, inventory, and disposal of spent samples and waste.
• Perform courier, sample pickup and delivery, customer service, and other logistics duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and environmentally compliant work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license for operating company vehicles.
• Basic computer skills, including accurate LIMS data entry and management of multiple emails.
• Ability to routinely lift 55 pounds and stand for most of the workday.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
