Login Technician (Laboratory)

Location: Holt, Michigan, USA; candidates should live within a commutable distance. Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with overtime as needed.

Pay: starting at $17.00 per hour, with compensation up to $17 per hour.

What you will do

• Receive, unload, verify, log, label, route, and store incoming samples.
• Use LIMS to assign job and sample numbers and maintain accurate tracking records.
• Deliver samples to analysis laboratories and perform sample pick-up and drop-off courier duties.
• Prepare bottle kits, ship samples and coolers, and forward samples to other laboratories in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Monitor freezer and cooler temperatures, manage inventory, perform sample splits and composites, and dispose of spent samples and hazardous materials according to procedures.
• Maintain work areas, coolers, freezers, and company vehicles while following safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform courier duties.
• Professional working proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to use computer systems, follow documented procedures, and work independently and collaboratively.

• Laboratory or sample-handling experience.
