Linear Water Designer (Civil Engineering)

Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. Work from one of the Ontario offices in Ottawa, Whitby, North York, Toronto, or Hamilton. Hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: CAD 87,000–115,000 per year, depending on the local market.

What you will do

• Design water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including open-cut, trenchless, and rehabilitation projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and applications for regulatory and funding agencies.
• Support project managers and design teams on environmental assessments, studies, and detailed design projects.
• Provide construction-phase support, including submittal reviews, responses to requests for information, and contract document clarifications.
• Train and mentor junior team members while contributing to a high-performance team culture.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
• CET designation with OACETT or eligibility to register.
• At least five years of relevant experience designing water and wastewater linear infrastructure within existing rights-of-way.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
