What you will do

• Lead the development and progression of 3D wet-utility models.
• Generate plot-ready plan and profile drawings while maintaining high model accuracy.
• Coordinate design updates with the broader project team to ensure consistency.
• Develop preliminary designs for wet and dry utilities using industry-standard CAD tools.
• Design utility protection and relocation plans across all project phases.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering design, or a related field.
• 4-8+ years of experience in a similar utility design role.
• Must be able to work remotely during EST business hours.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as MicroStation, Inroads, Open Roads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with sewer and watermain design calculation tools like Infoworks or EPANET.
• Knowledge of utility permitting, licensing, and approval procedures.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with GTA public and private utility companies.
• Experience with trenchless installation methods for large diameter watermains and sewers.
• Construction field experience and familiarity with municipal road authority standards.
