Wet Utilities Engineer (P.Eng) - Group

Location: Toronto; hybrid work at the project office in Hamilton, Ontario, 3 days per week

Salary: CAD 110,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop sanitary, stormwater, and watermain relocation designs, including combined sewer decommissioning.
• Design and manage hydraulic inputs, calculations, models, technical specifications, reports, and approval packages.
• Lead civil and utilities components of major LRT and transportation infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate water, storm, sanitary, dry utility, roadway rehabilitation, reconstruction, and drainage activities across disciplines.
• Mentor professionals, resolve conflicts, and maintain effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license required.
• 4–8+ years of experience in a similar role, including transportation infrastructure design and delivery.
• Ability to work from the Hamilton, Ontario project office 3 days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D for sewer and watermain design.
• Experience with hydraulic calculation and modelling tools such as InfoWorks and EPANET, plus knowledge of utility permits, licenses, and approval procedures.

• Direct experience with Greater Toronto Area public and private utility companies.
• Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams of professionals.
