Civil Engineering Project Coordinator

Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; onsite coordination with regular site visits and travel to AIM facilities and project sites across Canada and the United States.

Salary: CAD 60,000–68,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the planning, execution, and delivery of civil infrastructure, site development, and construction projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, initiation documents, scopes of work, budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses.
• Prepare tender packages, RFQs, construction cost estimates, bid analyses, and procurement recommendations.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, construction progress reviews, and project status reporting.
• Support contract administration, change management, RFIs, change orders, submittals, field reviews, and project closeout.

Requirements

• Advanced Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, construction management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in civil engineering, site development, infrastructure, land development, or construction projects; co-op and internship experience considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, grading, drainage, stormwater management, underground servicing, construction practices, and municipal approval processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and contract documents.
• Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel, including occasional travel to the United States.
