Process Engineer III

What you will do

• Lead process design for defined project scopes, including areas, unit operations, and systems.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, design requirements, decisions, and open issues.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, construction managers, trade partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare or support technical bid tabulations, vendor packages, factory acceptance testing, risk assessments, HAZOP/HCCP activities, 3D model reviews, and functional specifications.
• Drive discipline and cross-discipline quality checks and lead system design programming and planning.
• Mentor junior engineering and design staff and support technical advancement and leadership activities.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in an operating company or design firm within a related industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable industry and regulatory guidance and statutory building codes.
• Experience managing complex engineering tasks, coordinating project design efforts, and collaborating with construction trade partners and vendors.
• Background screening is required as a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• Engineer in Training certification or Professional Engineer license.
• Experience responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, developing punch lists, and reporting construction progress.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, qualification, or troubleshooting of process systems.
