What you will do

• Supervise multifamily construction projects and coordinate field construction teams, subcontractors, and multiple projects across a large geographic area as required.
• Develop and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate materials and tools, and manage supply planning.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and verify subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Set quality-control standards, review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals, and coordinate meetings.
• Prepare project reports, approve invoices, document punchlists, and manage testing, closeout, and owner acceptance.
• Travel as required by management and perform manual work only in rare exigent circumstances.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or achievement of the certification within six months of hire, with active certification maintained.
• Working knowledge of all construction crafts and specifications, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency.
