Senior Superintendent - Mission Critical

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $140,000–$157,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead field execution across site access, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, safety, quality, and construction from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop project schedules, weekly field updates, phasing plans, and logistics plans for active and prospective projects.
• Manage multiple large or complex projects while coordinating internal field teams, trade partners, owner vendors, architects, engineers, and design teams.
• Maintain quality assurance, quality control, accurate field documentation, and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges with minimal cost and schedule impact.
• Mentor and develop Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, interns, and other field personnel; support recruiting, training, business development, and client relationships.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare, and/or mission-critical projects.
• Experience overseeing field operations, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and complex project delivery.
• Solid construction trades background and technical knowledge, with proficiency in scheduling software.
• Knowledge of pre-construction planning, logistics, budgeting oversight, plans and specifications coordination, and field documentation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time-management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• References, a project list, and a resume are required.
