Linux-Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Salary: $150,000–$205,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Support cloud-based and hybrid environments using AWS services and Kubernetes platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system performance and uptime.
• Automate infrastructure and operational workflows with scripting and configuration management tools.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices, document systems, and support handoff to operations teams.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a CI/Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with Linux systems, including Red Hat and CentOS.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, plus scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash.
• Understanding of networking and security fundamentals and experience working collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and Helm.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, the ELK Stack, Terraform, or similar infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience in DoD or regulated cybersecurity environments, including RMF, STIGs, or NIST.
• Experience supporting production systems and operations teams.
