Supervisor, Quality (Manufacturing)

Location: Longview, Texas, United States; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Supervise quality assurance technicians, inspection personnel, and testing staff.
• Use CAPA findings and quality metrics to initiate, assign, and monitor continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, timely product completion, and design specifications.
• Coordinate schedules for audits and inspections and provide technical support to trainers and production staff.
• Approve quality team leaders who complete required training and report approvals to HR and Production.
• Review quality findings with internal and external suppliers and customers, including travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Ability to work at a manufacturing facility, wear required personal protective equipment, stand and sit for extended periods, use stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• ASQ certification and experience with ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to pursue it.
• Experience with Publisher, Visio, and Power BI.
