Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Dubuque, Iowa, USA; full-time, facility-based role

What you will do

• Build and maintain the quality management system for the Dubuque manufacturing facility.
• Maintain ISO compliance in certified areas and develop plans to expand certification across the plant.
• Develop quality and process improvement programs using 5 Whys, 7 Step Problem Solving, PDCA, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methods.
• Coordinate investigations, corrective actions, audits, and disposition of recurring production and supplier quality issues.
• Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, production leadership, and frontline employees to improve product and process quality.
• Lead quality meetings, analyze quality trends, maintain the quality database, and supervise 6–12 direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of quality management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent problem-solving experience is required.
• Experience leading and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards or a similar ERP system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work full-time at the Dubuque, Iowa manufacturing facility.
