Quality Supervisor (Industrial Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the quality control inspection group, including recruiting, coaching, training, retention, performance management, and career development.
• Plan inspection staffing and headcount according to backlog demand, and monitor project QA budgets.
• Review quality data, track NCRs and continuous improvement activities, and report weekly and monthly KPI metrics.
• Enforce quality control procedures and standards, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and update inspection procedures, processes, required inspection levels, and checkpoints.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, operations, and outside inspectors, including scheduling inspectors at TAS facilities.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of related quality experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of supervisory or lead experience managing inspectors, auditors, or QA/QC personnel.
• At least two years of experience using ISO 9001:2015 and other quality management systems.
• Experience with resource planning, electronic file management, and industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ASME Sections VIII, IX, and V, ASME B31.9, ISO 9001, AISC, AWS D1.1, SSPC, or similar welding, construction, and quality codes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, weld maps and symbols, PFDs, PIDs, schematics, and complex project specifications.

Nice to have

• NDE qualification or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification.
• ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing experience.
